The crypto screener that sees the order book

RedRook watches thousands of pairs on Binance, Bybit, OKX, MEXC, Bitget and Hyperliquid and shows where the move is happening right now: walls and icebergs, the flow of trades, big players — and lets you trade it from the chart.

Features

Everything a scalper and an intraday trader looks at — in one window

A native desktop app: fast, works in the background with alerts and position protection, several windows and linked groups.

Screeners

Find the move before it is on the news

  • Ready-made and custom screeners: volume spikes, impulses, highs, RSI, funding, OI
  • A table or blocks of mini charts, preview of the selected pair
  • Screener backtest on history and «Screener from words»
  • Alert when a pair enters a screener
Screeners
Order book

Walls that are real — and those that are not

  • Large orders across the most liquid pairs of every market
  • Classification: real, iceberg, fake — with filled and pulled volume
  • Order book and tape right on the chart, wall levels in one click
  • Alerts: wall appeared, price approached, eaten, pulled
Walls
Order flow

Heatmap, footprint and volume profile

  • Order book heatmap with history, like Bookmap
  • Footprint clusters, volume profile, CVD and open interest
  • Ready view sets: Scalping, Smart money, Flow, Levels, Derivatives, Clean chart

Big players

See who is trading: whales, series, absorption

  • Large trades relative to the pair's typical trade
  • Series in one direction and absorption without price movement
  • Hyperliquid whales; robots and icebergs in the tape
  • Liquidation feed and liquidation zones on the chart
Big players
Trading

Trade from the chart — with protection on

  • Market, limit, stop, TWAP and grid orders from the chart and the book
  • Auto stop and take-profit, break-even, stop behind a wall, laddered takes
  • Risk limits are checked by the app, not by your mood; tilt detection
  • Paper account for practice; API keys in an encrypted vault on your computer

AI assistant

Chart insight, trade review, drafts of alerts and screeners — with your own Anthropic or OpenAI key (requests go from the app straight to the provider).

Arbitrage

Where a coin is cheaper and more expensive: spot–spot, perp–perp, basis, funding spread and its history.

Market & liquidations

Funding, listings, pump & dump, seasonality, liquidations of longs and shorts.

Replay & trade film

Record the market, replay it and trade in replay; a video of your trade from the recording.

Workspace

Arrange it the way you trade

Windows, chart grids, second timeframes and themes — everything is saved and comes back on the next start.

Several windows

One window per monitor — or per task

  • As many windows as you need in Pro: screeners in one, charts in another, big players in a third
  • Linked groups: click a coin in a screener — it opens on the chart in the linked window
  • Layouts as named sets: «Scalping», «Morning review» — switch with one click
  • The app remembers the last session and reopens your windows where they were
Several RedRook windows: screeners, big players and a chart grid
Chart grid and seconds

One coin on several timeframes at once

  • A grid of up to 9 charts: 15s, 1m, 5m and 1h side by side, any split of rows and columns
  • Second timeframes 1s, 5s, 15s built from live trades — also on forex, from quotes
  • Zoom in and the chart switches to seconds by itself, zoom out — back to minutes
  • Synced crosshair and scrolling; custom bars: volume, range, Renko, Kagi, Line Break, P&F, tick and delta
A 2×2 chart grid: 15 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 1 hour
Themes

Dark, light, midnight — and your own accent

  • RedRook dark and RedRook light, Soft dark, Graphite, Midnight and high-contrast black
  • An accent colour for buttons and selection; colour-blind palettes for up and down
  • Interface size and density; the theme can follow the system light and dark mode
  • Chart look on its own: candle styles, grid, watermark, 3D and glow effects

What other screeners don't have

Wall classification and the guard

Each wall is tracked: holding, being eaten, moved or pulled. The position guard closes the trade when the wall you rely on is eaten.

Signal statistics and builder

Build a signal without code and see how it worked on history: hit rate, move after the signal, best hours.

Bots in the tape

Steady rhythm, TWAP, ladders, share of volume — algorithms in the trade flow are found and shown: when a bot started, how much it bought, whether it came back.

Coach and tilt

A review of every trade and a tilt score: after a series of losses and revenge entries the app suggests a break — and can block new entries.

Multibook

One order book across all exchanges: where the liquidity of a coin really is, and on which exchange the wall stands.

Replay and the trade film

Record the market, replay it and trade in replay; a short video of your trade with the book and the tape — to review or share.

Background service with Telegram

Screeners and alerts keep working with the window closed; signals arrive in Telegram.

Similar situations

The app finds moments in the archive of all pairs that looked like now — price shape, delta, OI, walls nearby — and draws a fan of what happened next, with the number of cases.

Who leads the price

Which exchange moves first: lead and lag between venues from the trade tape, «Bybit leads» right on the chart, and a mark when a coin decouples from the market.

Hear the market

Buying and selling pressure, big prints and walls as sound — follow the flow without looking at the screen; voice prompts for alerts.

Bars of your own

Volume, range, Renko, Kagi, Line Break, Point & Figure, tick and delta bars — and second candles 1s/5s/15s from live trades.

Forex in the same window

cTrader and OANDA brokers next to crypto exchanges: the same charts, screeners, alerts and second timeframes.

Honestly about exchanges: trading — Binance, Bybit, OKX and MEXC (spot only: MEXC futures are closed to the API). Hyperliquid, Bitget and Deribit — market data only, no trading. Forex brokers OANDA and cTrader — data; trading later (cTrader — after the app is activated by the broker).

Install RedRook

Version 0.3.0 of 2026-10-29. Updates arrive inside the app. On first launch enter a key, press «Try for 14 days» — or «Continue for free».

Linux

x86_64 · glibc 2.35+ · Vulkan or OpenGL 4
  1. AppImage: chmod +x RedRook-0.3.0-x86_64.AppImage and run it.
  2. .deb (Debian, Ubuntu): sudo apt install ./trade-sig_0.3.0_amd64.deb — then find RedRook in the app menu.
  3. Tray icon in GNOME needs the «AppIndicator» extension (enabled in Ubuntu by default).

macOS

macOS 11+ · Apple Silicon and Intel
  1. Open the .dmg and drag RedRook to Applications.
  2. RedRook is not signed with an Apple developer certificate and not notarized by Apple, so macOS blocks the first launch («cannot be opened», «Apple could not verify…»). This is expected for a download from this site; it is allowed once.
  3. macOS 11–14: in Applications right-click (or Control-click) RedRook → «Open» → «Open».
  4. macOS 15 and newer: try to open RedRook, close the warning, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → «Open Anyway» next to RedRook, and confirm.
  5. If macOS says the app «is damaged» or the steps above do not help, remove the quarantine in Terminal: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/RedRook.app

System requirements

  • Linux: x86_64, glibc 2.35 or newer — Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora 36+ and similar; a GPU driver with Vulkan or OpenGL 4.
  • macOS: 11 Big Sur or newer; one universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel.
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM or more — the app itself uses about 400 MB, more with many charts and order book pairs.
  • Disk: about 200 MB for the app, plus market history and recordings — up to ~1 GB a week with active use.
  • Network: a stable internet connection; exchanges are reached directly from your computer.
  • Windows, ARM Linux and mobile devices are not supported yet.

What's new · 0.3.0

  • New name — RedRook, website — redrook.app. A new icon, the iso tower; it assembles itself while the app starts.
  • "RedRook dark" and "RedRook light" themes and the "RedRook red" accent — in Settings → Theme. Our own section icons in the menu.
  • Bundled fonts: Inter for the interface, JetBrains Mono for numbers — the app looks the same on any Linux and on Mac.
  • Trade film: the watermark is now the RedRook icon and wordmark.
  • Settings transfer uses .redrook files, screeners — .redrook-screener; old .stakan… files and STAKAN-SCREENER-1 codes still open.
  • Pair list: price, 24h change and a sparkline for every pair, the exchange in small type under the ticker.
  • Chart volumes no longer fade when the timeframe switches; a burst of notifications over the limit no longer flickers.
FAQ

Questions

How many computers does a license cover?

One. Changing computers? Unlink the old one on your account page or in the app («Unlink this computer») and enter the key on the new one.

Does it work without the internet?

Market data needs the internet. The license is an online lease renewed in the background: without a connection to the license service the app keeps working for up to 7 days.

How do I pay?

USDT on TRC20 or BEP20 via NOWPayments. The key appears on the order page right after the network confirms. Send the exact amount from the invoice; if your exchange deducts a withdrawal fee, add it on top. A shortfall up to 1% is credited automatically; a bigger one is not — the money is not lost, we sort it out manually.

macOS says RedRook can't be opened?

The app is not signed or notarized by Apple, so macOS asks for permission once: right-click RedRook → «Open» (macOS 11–14) or System Settings → Privacy & Security → «Open Anyway» (macOS 15+). Step by step — in the download section.

Is there auto-renewal?

No. You pay for 1, 3 or 12 months (10% and 25% off). 3 days and 1 day before the end the app and your account page remind you; a renewal is added to the current term.

Where do my exchange keys and trades go?

Nowhere — they stay on your computer: API keys are kept in the app's encrypted vault, orders go straight to the exchange. The license service receives only usage counters (no pairs, trades, amounts or keys); extended statistics — only with your consent.

System requirements?

Linux x86_64 with glibc 2.35+ (Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora 36+) and a Vulkan or OpenGL 4 GPU driver; macOS 11 or newer, Apple Silicon and Intel. 4 GB RAM or more. No Windows version yet. Details — in the system requirements.

Is there a free version?

Yes — Free mode, without a key and a time limit: charts and the order book, one screener, one window, Binance and Bybit, in-app alerts and paper trading. Press «Continue for free» in the activation window. When a trial or a license ends, the app switches to Free by itself.

How does the trial work?

14 days, all modules and exchanges, once per computer. Download the app and press «Try for 14 days» in the activation window — a Telegram handle or e-mail is required.

Can I change what's included?

Yes, on your account page: additions start right away with a pro-rated charge for the rest of the term, removals — from the next period.
